How to Find Rehab Basics?

What are your opening timings?
Our Physiotherapist work from Monday to Saturday and are very flexible with appointments. Currently there Will Not be any Clinics or Home Visits offered on Sunday.
If the key Physiotherapist if not working on the day of allocated clinics or home visits, another Physiotherapist will cover if available. In cases where Rehab Basics is not able to offer a replacement Physiotherapist, client’s/carer/residential care/nursing home will be notified.
Cancellation of treatment session?
Rehab Basics understands that for various reasons client’s may not be available for treatment sessions as planned.
We would appreciate if the client/carer/staff at residential home/staff at nursing home could please inform Rehab Basics Physiotherapist or call Rehab Basics administration staff at 01604 718091(during weekdays 9.30am to 4.00pm) or send us an email at email@example.com (24/7) to inform us about client’s availability for that particular session or sessions in advance.
For any Cancellation Rehab Basics requires 24 hours’ notice. Failure to do so may result in the full treatment fee being charged for clinic session and treatment + travel charged for Home Visits.
What is arrival time for treatment sessions?
Please arrive at the clinic 10 mins before the treatment session. For Hydrotherapy sessions please arrive atleast 15-20 mins before the pool session as client’s would need to be changed before entering the pool.
Rehab Basics would appreciate that client’s strictly maintain arrival timings to avoid any inconvenience or delay or even over lapping of any sessions.
Do I need a referral?
Rehab Basics excepts referrals from GP’s, Case Managers, Solicitors, Private Therapists, NHS and for sure Self Referrals.
How much does the treatment session costs?
Rehab Basics appreciates that every client is different and needs personalised treatment plan.
Hence the cost of Clinic session, Hydrotherapy session and Home Visits will be put into place once client had his/her initial Physiotherapy assessment which will be carried out by Rehab Basics Physiotherapist.
How many treatment sessions would I need?
As each client will have his/her personalised treatment plan, the number of treatment sessions (Clinic/Hydrotherapy/Home Visits) will be agreed during the initial assessment.
How soon will I be seen?
Once Rehab Basics receives a referral, Physiotherapist will call client/carer/residential home/nursing home to book an appointment for initial assessment. Rehab Basics will offer an initial assessment within a week of the call made.
Where would treatment sessions take place?
Clinic Sessions at one of the Clinics mentioned in ‘Our Clinics’ page.
Hydrotherapy Sessions at Beehive School, Kingsthorpe, Northampton.
Home Visits as clients own home address.
Visits at Residential Home or Nursing Home.
What happens during Initial Assessment?
Once date and time for initial assessment is confirmed; client will be seen by a Physiotherapist. Personalised and detailed treatment plan including number of clinic/home visit sessions and/or Hydrotherapy sessions will be agreed and signed for.

Rehab Basics will treat all age groups.
What Conditions do you treat?
Rehab Basics treats Neurological Conditions, Paediatrics Conditions and Musculoskeletal Conditions. For more information please refer to ‘Conditions we Treat’ page on website.
Can you help Post-Stroke?
From our experience, we have seen improvement in clients many years after the onset of their condition.
Moreover, with self determination and help from our specialist team of Physiotherapists, Rehab Basics has helped clients regain their full potential and function long after they were informed that they have reached a point where further improvement is not anticipated.
Which treatment method will be used for my condition?
At the time of initial assessment, Physiotherapist will discuss the plan of action including treatment methods.
Can you advise home exercises?
As per the treatment plan home exercise’s will be prescripted to the client if need be.
How can I make payments for the sessions?
Rehab Basics will accept Cheque Payments and/or Bank Transfer. Every first week of the month, invoice will be posted/emailed to the agreed individual with details for Cheque Payments and/or Bank Transfer.
